Welcome to the Finnish Air Force Museum’s Joy of Aviation – kids’ day on Saturday 18 May from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.!
The programme includes pony cart rides, a functional point of Liikenneturva, a music performance by Teatterikone, inflatable bouncy castles, a Trick course, a badge workshop, flight simulators, face painting and a wheel of fortune.
The equipment and activities are presented by Toyota Racing, The Finnish Air Rescue Association, Air Force Academy, Finavia, museum vehicles by Mobilists, Care Dogs, Hot-air Balloon by Aeronaut, The Voluntary Rescue Service Vapepa, Police, Rescue Department of Central Finland and Wellbeing services county of Central Finland.
Food services are provided by the Mannerheim League of Child Welfare (sausages) and Tikkakoski Village Association (pancakes). In addition, there are Air Force Museum’s café, ice cream kiosk and a cotton candy stand!
