Fighter project HX

The HX procurement decision and the signature of the contracts with it marked the end of a long preparatory work. The preliminary investigation work, which started in the middle of the last decade, was guided by several government programmes and the 2017 defence report, and it was determined to move towards a procurement decision.

The exhibition section describes the preparation of the HX fighter project in the defence administration in 2014-2021, the tender process, the evaluation criteria for tenders and the decision-making model. The justifications for the winning F-35 solution and the future procurement package will also be reviewed.
